Instructructions for using the iPhone Maps App
To load the Eastern Trail POIs into the "Maps App" on the iPhone, simply click the following KML link http://etmap.org/maps/etmd.kml and/or enter the address into the "Map Search Bar." Once the address is entered, the App will load all of the ET POI pins onto the Map.
Current File Downloads for Garmin and other GPS devices
- Eastern Trail (complete route) in GPX file –
01-22-12 release – downloads as a straight GPX file (jan-22-2012.gpx)
- Compressed, Eastern Trail (complete route) as a “Zipped” GPX file –
01-22-12 release – downloads as a compressed ZIP file (jan-22-2012-gpx.zip) - NOTE: The compressed file (jan-22-2012-gpx.zip) must be first downloaded to your desktop computer and then opened using a program like WinZip®
